"The future will be gorgeous and reckless and words, these luminous charms, will set us free again."

~Buddha

In these days of external upheaval and flux, you are warmly invited to take a breather and relax into a weekend of intimate, heart-centred creativity. Treat yourself a blazing fire in an ocean front home near Salishan, Oregon.

You can expect gentle guided meditations, music and carefully chosen poems to inspire your own writing and sharing. In an intimate, wholly supportive setting, let us conjure some ‘luminous charms’ and free ourselves, if momentarily, from the grip of worldly news. Let us give voice to our own hearts’ passions and have them heard and honored in a safe, nurturing, soul-nourishing space.

Please know that all levels and genres of writing are welcome and that warm, thorough feedback will be offered. Just bring your writing materials and open heart. Those of you who have written with Ana before have witnessed the transformative power of writing from the truth of our spiritual interior.

TESTIMONIALS

"I had the amazing good fortune to attend a writing retreat with Ana last April. It was wonderful in many ways, but especially thanks to Ana's ability to create an environment that was safe and inspirational, even among women who began as strangers. Our styles were all different: some poets, some fiction writers, some non-fiction writers, but somehow it all worked. What I loved was the chance to step away from my life and responsibilities for a few days and immerse myself in poetry and literature (plus a few walks on the beach).  Ana has a magical ability to elicit work and words that can surprise even the writer."
