"You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere."
You are warmly invited to join Ana for five sweet days of exploring the intimacies of your heart through personal expression. You can expect gentle guided meditations to lure us more deeply inwards, music and juicy, carefully chosen poems to inspire your own writing and sharing.
In a wholly supportive setting, let us free ourselves, if momentarily, from the grip of worldly life. Let us unearth and give voice to our own hearts’ passions and have them heard and honored in a safe, nurturing, soul-nourishing space.
Please know that all levels and genres of writing are welcome and that warm, thorough feedback will be offered. Just bring your writing materials and open heart. Those of you who have written with Ana before have witnessed the transformative power of writing from the truth of our spiritual interior.
Although it is highly recommended that you attend all five days as the intimacy and energy grows over time, there is also a weekend option for those of you who may need it.
Our retreat will take place at Peaceful Hale, where abundant quiet and serenity, incredible views, sunsets and starlit skies with rolling hills await. Nestled in the Kohala hills at 700' elevation, we will savor bountiful sunshine and cooling breezes. This is a large wrap around lanai with cosy chairs and a hammock for writing inspiration. The home and area has a rare pastoral feel and is shawled by colorful flowers and foliage, a perfect base for your creative expression.
Originally from Ireland, Ana Ramana is a bestselling poet and writer. For over two decades, she has been gently assisting writers in accessing their deepest truths and finding surprising and transformative expression through words and sharing. Ana now lives in Mt. Shasta, California.
